MUSEUM HISTORY
The house "Zum Rosgarten" was in the Middle Ages the guild house of the butchers, shopkeepers, pharmacists, potter and rope makers. It was first mentioned in 1324 and in 1454 it was united with the adjoining house "Zum Schwarzen Widder".

MUSEUM TOUR
As an art and cultural history museum of the city of Constance and the Lake Constance region, the Rosgarten Museum looks back on a long tradition. Since it was founded in 1870 by the Constance pharmacist and city councillor Ludwig Leiner, the rich collection of exhibits on the history of the city and the region has been on display here.
